At Prestige Builders of Virginia Inc, we believe that every successful project begins with a conversation. Let’s discuss your vision, budget, and timeline to determine if we’d be a good fit for your needs. During our phone consultation, we can explore your ideas and provide you with a ballpark estimate based on the scope of your project. For smaller-scale renovations, such as resurfacing your kitchen without relocating appliances or removing walls, we can offer a fairly accurate estimate over the phone. However, if your project involves more significant changes—like adjusting the layout or taking down walls—we recommend a design consultation to ensure we meet your expectations. For larger-scale remodels, such as adding an addition to your home, we’ll send a contractor to inspect your home’s structure after our initial call. This allows us to ensure the project is feasible and provide you with a more accurate quote.
Design Agreement
Following our initial ballpark proposal, we will proceed to the design agreement phase. During this stage, we will assist you in selecting materials, color schemes, and layouts that align with your vision. Once these choices are made, you will receive a visual rendering along with an updated estimate. To ensure a seamless remodeling process, we will conduct further research, consult with subcontractors, and hold design meetings. Throughout the process, you will be able to track the progress of your project and communicate directly with your project manager, as well as approve change orders.
Proposal and Contract
At Prestige, we prioritize transparency throughout the remodeling process. Once the design stage is complete, you will have a clear understanding of what to expect next. An itemized proposal will outline the exact scope of work, including costs, and you will receive an estimated timeline for completion. After we receive your deposit, we will begin ordering your materials. We only start work on your project once all materials have arrived and been inspected, ensuring minimal delays once construction begins. We recognize that having your kitchen remodeled can be inconvenient, and we strive to minimize that disruption. As your dedicated design/build team, we promise to remain on-site until the project is completed, leaving you with a beautiful and clean space.
